Pleasantville Animal Hospital of Fallston is a privately owned, family-based veterinary clinic providing compassionate care to dogs, cats, and birds (avian experience not required).

We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our team full-time.
Qualifications
- Current RVT license in good standing (Maryland)
- Minimum 4 years of veterinary experience preferred
- Strong technical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and client education skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians with wellness and sick examinations
- Obtain thorough patient histories
- Safely restrain dogs, cats, and birds (including poultry)
- Assist with sedation, anesthesia induction, and intubation
- Monitor anesthesia and surgical patients
- Perform venipuncture and place IV catheters
- Perform dental prophylaxis
- Take and process digital radiographs
- Conduct in-house laboratory diagnostics
- Administer oral and injectable medications
- Fill prescription medications
- Provide nursing care to hospitalized patients
- Maintain clean and organized treatment areas
- Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients and team members
