Aisha Salon, located in the beautiful Hunter's Creek area of SW Orlando, is looking for experienced Hair Stylists & Colorists to join our team - Master, Senior, and Junior positions all available. If you have a strong color background, love being behind the chair, and take pride in making every client leave feeling their best, we'd love to meet you.
What you'll do:
- Perform precision haircuts, blowouts, and finished styling for a diverse clientele
- Create all-over color, gray coverage, corrective color, highlights, foils, balayage, ombre, and color melting
- Consult with clients on tone, placement, upkeep, and at-home care, and recommend retail products
- Stay current on color lines, trends, and techniques through ongoing education
- Build and retain a loyal client base through consistent, high-quality service
- Keep your station clean and sanitary per Florida Board of Cosmetology standards
What we're looking for:
- Active Florida cosmetology license
- Minimum 3 years of professional salon experience (5+ years preferred for Master Stylist role)
- Advanced color skills, especially highlights, balayage, blonding, and color correction
- Strong cutting and styling ability across a range of hair types and textures
- Excellent consultation and communication skills
- Reliable, professional, and a good teammate
- Availability that includes some weekends
Compensation & benefits:
- Commission-based pay, 40% to 70% depending on experience and skill, with no cap on earnings
