Home2 Suites by Hilton Erie is seeking a dependable, hands-on Front Office Manager to lead our front desk team and help create a welcoming, efficient experience for every guest.
This is not a desk-only management position. The Front Office Manager will work alongside the team, assist guests, help cover shifts when needed, and take an active role in the daily operation of the hotel.
Responsibilities
- Lead, train, schedule, and support the front desk team
- Deliver friendly, professional service to every guest
- Handle guest concerns and resolve issues quickly
- Monitor arrivals, departures, room assignments, and special requests
- Ensure front desk procedures and Hilton brand standards are followed
- Assist with reservations, billing questions, and guest account corrections
- Review daily reports, cash handling, and shift paperwork
- Communicate closely with housekeeping and maintenance
- Help maintain proper front desk coverage, including weekends and holidays
- Cover front desk or night audit shifts when operationally necessary
- Support hotel management with guest satisfaction and operational goals
- Improve team performance, accountability, and employee morale
Qualifications
- Previous hotel front desk experience is strongly preferred
- Supervisory or leadership experience is preferred
- Strong guest-service and problem-solving skills
- Dependable, organized, and able to remain calm under pressure
- Comfortable coaching employees and addressing performance concerns
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Experience with Hilton systems is helpful but not required
- Must be willing to work hands-on alongside the front desk team
