We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Inside Sales Associate to join our team. This role is responsible for generating sales, managing customer inquiries, processing rental orders, and ensuring a seamless client experience from initial contact through post-event follow-up.

Position Summary
The Inside Sales Associate plays a key role in driving revenue growth by handling inbound inquiries, developing client relationships, and converting leads into confirmed bookings. This position also supports showroom sales, customer consultations, and coordination with operations to ensure successful event execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to inbound calls, emails, website inquiries, and walk-in customers.
- Generate new business through proactive outreach, follow-ups, and relationship building.
- Recommend rental products and solutions based on client event needs and budget.
- Upsell and cross-sell additional products and services to maximize revenue.
- Follow up on all quotes, leads, and pending inquiries to close sales.
- Prepare rental contracts, forms, and agreements and obtain customer signatures.
- Accurately calculate rental charges and clearly explain pricing and service options.
- Process orders from start to finish, including reservations, payments, and documentation.
- Ensure all event details are accurately entered into CRM and internal systems.
- Monitor and follow up on overdue contracts and payments.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Provide detailed product information, including usage, availability, and damage waiver options.
- Assist clients in designing event layouts and selecting appropriate rental items.
- Follow up post-event to ensure customer satisfaction and gather feedback.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional showroom environment.
- Ensure rental products are properly displayed, stocked, and ready for client viewing.
- Assist customers with hands-on product selection and consultations.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and update customer activity daily.
- Prepare and submit weekly sales reports to the Director of Sales.
- Coordinate with operations and logistics teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
- Participate in team meetings, training, and safety briefings.
- Support event setup or promotional activities when needed (e.g., PR or social media events).
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field is a plus).
- 1–2 years of experience in sales, customer service, hospitality, or event rentals.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and perform in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Experience using CRM systems or sales tracking tools.
- Strong upselling and cross-selling skills.
- Passion for events, design, or customer experience.
Compensation
- Base Salary: $50,000 – $55,000 annually
