Overview
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Assistant Manager to join our dynamic restaurant team. In this role, you will lead daily operations, supervise staff, ensure food safety standards, and deliver memorable guest experiences. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for those passionate about hospitality management and eager to develop their leadership skills in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service during all shifts
- Supervise and motivate team members, fostering a positive work environment
- Manage food preparation processes, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
- Handle POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and transactions
- Control inventory levels, monitor food safety practices, and manage food handling procedures
- Train staff on customer service excellence, food safety, and operational procedures
- Assist with shift management, including scheduling, cash handling, and ensuring compliance with health regulations
Skills
- Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant management with strong supervisory skills
- Knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling expertise
- Background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management
- Experience with inventory control, food safety management, and food production processes
- Strong leadership abilities with team management, training & development skills
- Excellent communication skills for managerial tasks such as interviewing and staff coaching
- Ability to analyze profit and loss statements and assist with budgeting efforts
- Familiarity with casual dining or fine dining environments; catering or banquet experience is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to manage hospitality teams effectively while maintaining high standards of customer service
