Our long term Hygienist is going from full-time 4 days per week to part-time 2 days per week. We are looking for someone who wants to do 2 days part-time per week. Our team is close, hard working and very efficient. Would love to add someone who is the right fit.

Responsibilities
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments, ensuring optimal oral health for patients.
- Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions to inform treatment plans.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term dental health.
- Assist the dentist during procedures such as dental x-rays, medical imaging, and chairside assisting with precision and professionalism.
- Maintain infection prevention standards through aseptic techniques, sterilization of dental equipment, and adherence to healthcare infection control protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with the dental team to ensure seamless workflow, patient care continuity, and adherence to all safety guidelines.
Requirements
- Valid licensure as a Dental Hygienist in accordance with state regulations.
- Proficiency in dental x-ray procedures and the operation of dental equipment with attention to safety standards.
- Expertise in infection prevention management, aseptic technique, and healthcare infection control practices.
- Excellent client communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively about dental care and treatment options.
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance management and maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.
- Must use loupes with headlight
