We're looking for a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Retail Sales Representative to join our team. If you enjoy connecting with people, creating memorable customer experiences, and working in a positive, team-oriented environment, we'd love to meet you.
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and provide a warm, friendly, and personalized shopping experience.
- Introduce customers to our teas, teaware, and brand story.
- Prepare and serve tea samples following company procedures.
- Open and close the store according to company procedures, ensuring all opening, closing, cash handling, and security procedures are properly completed.
- Recommend products based on customers' preferences and confidently close sales.
- Process cash and credit card transactions accurately using the POS system.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store.
- Restock merchandise and monitor inventory throughout the day.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures.
- Follow company standards for customer service, cleanliness, and product presentation.
- Communicate inventory needs and operational issues to management.
Qualifications
- Fluent in English & Mandarin (additional languages are a plus).
- Previous retail, customer service, or sales experience is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, outgoing, and confident when interacting with customers.
- Passionate about providing exceptional customer service.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 lbs.
- Interest in tea, specialty food, or wellness products is a plus.
- Knowledge of Chinese tea is preferred but not required. Paid training will be provided.
Schedule
- Part-time
- Weekend and holiday availability is preferred.
- Flexible weekday availability is a plus.
