Overview
The Store Manager leads daily operations of the café, ensuring exceptional guest experiences that align with our mission of Peace & Blessings. This role involves managing and developing a high-performing team, driving operational excellence, and creating a positive environment where both guests and staff thrive. The Store Manager serves as the cornerstone of café success, balancing leadership, hospitality, and business acumen.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development:- Lead, train, and schedule baristas and team members, fostering an inclusive and supportive work culture that drives engagement and retention.- Clearly communicate goals and expectations to Assistant Managers and Shift Leads, ensuring adherence to quality standards and company guidelines.- Develop team members through coaching, feedback, and mentorship, creating pathways for growth and advancement.
Operational Excellence:- Oversee all café operations, including inventory management, supply ordering, and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization.- Ensure the quality and consistency of all coffee-related products, upholding Pax & Beneficia's standards.- Address guest concerns promptly and professionally, delivering solutions that reflect our company's mission and values.
Financial Management & Growth:- Manage café financial performance by tracking sales, monitoring expenses, and developing strategies to improve profitability.- Develop and implement local marketing and promotional initiatives to drive guest traffic and boost revenue.- Analyze financial metrics to make data-driven decisions that optimize business performance.
Continuous Improvement:- Stay informed on industry trends and company updates, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance operations and the guest experience.- Identify and implement process improvements that increase efficiency and guest satisfaction.
Requirements- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred.- 2+ years of management experience, preferably in the food and beverage industry.- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team effectively.- Excellent communication and customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable guest experiences.- Proficiency in financial management and basic accounting principles.- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as business demands require.

Daily Tasks
- Inventory Management & Ordering: Review stock levels of coffee, food, syrups, and essentials; place orders and track incoming shipments.
- Operational Reporting: Summarize and report key metrics including net sales, labor cost and percentage, product sales breakdowns, and COGS.
- Team Supervision: Monitor staff performance and customer service delivery, providing real-time feedback and coaching.
- Guest Experience Management: Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct café walkthroughs to maintain cleanliness, organization, and operational standards.
-Task Coordination: Plan and delegate daily responsibilities to ensure smooth operations throughout all shifts.
- Sales Analysis: Review daily sales trends and adjust staffing or inventory strategies accordingly.
- Product Quality Control: Ensure all beverages and food items meet Pax & Beneficia's quality standards.- Submit End of Day Reports
Weekly Tasks
- Strategic Operations Meeting: Meet with Director of Operations to review sales performance, labor metrics, COGS, and overall store health.
- Leadership Team Meeting: Conduct sessions with Assistant Manager and Shift Leads to discuss staff performance, promotions, seasonal initiatives, and task delegation.
- Supply Chain Management: Place comprehensive orders for coffee, syrups, and commissary items to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Product Development: Review and adjust coffee recipes based on new deliveries, ensuring flavor profiles meet standards.
- Performance Analytics: Analyze weekly sales data to identify trends, opportunities for revenue enhancement, and cost reduction strategies.
- Workforce Planning: Create and adjust staff schedules to align with business demands while optimizing labor costs.
- Team Performance Reviews: Evaluate individual and team performance, recognizing achievements and addressing development opportunities.
