Overview:
As the Lifecycle Marketing Specialist, you will design, execute, and optimize lifecycle programs that acquire, activate, retain, and monetize customers. You’ll own segmentation, campaign orchestration (email/SMS/in-app), experimentation, and reporting—partnering with Product, Engineering, and BI to turn insights into automated, high-impact programs.

Responsibilities:

Build and iterate multi-channel lifecycle programs (welcome, onboarding, activation, cross-sell, win-back, churn prevention) using dynamic segmentation and triggers.

Plan and launch campaigns end-to-end: audience definition, content briefs, QA/deliverability checks, deployment, and post-mortem analysis.

Drive learning velocity via structured experimentation (A/B, multivariate, holdout tests); document hypotheses, results, and next actions.

Partner with Product/Engineering/BI to instrument events, define data requirements, and integrate third-party APIs for personalization and automation.

Develop creative testing frameworks (subject lines, templates, offers, send-time) and improve onsite/in-app personalization in coordination with web/product teams.

Own channel health: list growth, consent and preference management, deliverability, and compliance (CAN-SPAM, TCPA, GDPR/CCPA) with accurate suppression logic.

Build dashboards and recurring reports; track KPIs (open/click, conversion, revenue per send, retention, LTV, churn, unsubscribe/spam rate) and recommend actions.

Scale proven flows by templatizing assets, modularizing content, and codifying playbooks; partner with Engineering to automate and harden workflows.

Collaborate cross-functionally to support launches and promotions; ensure messaging alignment across paid, onsite, and product surfaces.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.

5+ years experience with proven success operating at both strategic and tactical levels across retention/lifecycle CRM (email/SMS/in-app), including segmented/personalized campaigns.

Solid understanding of CRM strategy and lifecycle best practices; experience building automation in a modern CRM/MAP (e.g., Braze, Iterable, HubSpot, SFMC). Braze, Resend, and SendGrid experience are a requirement for this role.

Strong analytical skills; comfortable pulling and analyzing data (Advanced Excel; basic SQL preferred) and translating insights into experiments and roadmap.

Experience collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Data teams on requirements, tracking, and integrations (events, APIs, ETL).

Hands-on experience creating/overseeing creative/content assets for email, SMS, and website personalization; meticulous QA and deliverability standards.

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and effective at juggling multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
-
Experienced with AI-native tools that enhance productivity and speed (e.g., Cursor, Make, Supabase, Netlify, Claude Code, n8n, Firecrawl, ChatGPT, Grok, Bolt, Vercel, etc).

Bonus: exposure to demand gen/lead management, channel development, or broader segmentation strategy.
