Ranger Cinco is hiring a Level III Security Officer for the Yorkshire Academy location (Memorial area)
Job Overview/Duties:
· Officers will conduct regular, scheduled foot patrol of school campus buildings, campus perimeter and parking lot(s) as outlined in job site security procedures, to deter criminal activity and trespassers.
· Officers will assist with general traffic flow/control during school drop off and pick up times.
· Officers will prevent unauthorized access by identifying each campus “visitor” through school staff.
· Officers will maintain ongoing communication with school staff utilizing “walkie talkie”, phone and other communication devices.
· Officers will complete daily activity and incident reports as outlined in their job site security procedures.
· Officers will observe and report any incidents immediately to proper staff
· Officers will utilize good customer service skills, being mindful of ethical and professional boundaries around students at campus.
· Officers will be required to download the operating application onto their smartphone to accept shifts, clock in/out, scan checkpoints throughout shifts, and make reports.
· Officers will act proactively and identify potential areas of security improvements on campus.
Qualifications for location:
· Must be at least 25 years old
· High school diploma/GED
· Must have a valid Driver's License.
· Possess a valid Level III Security License (Armed) in state of employment.
· Must be able to pass an onsite drug screen and background check.
· Comfortable kneeling, carrying, bending, walking, standing, or sitting for extended periods of time.
· Ability to perform continuous physical movement/exertion as needed.
· Proficient written and oral communication skills.

Pay:
$17.00/per hour (Based on Experience)
Experience Level:
· Security: 5 Years (Required) or equivalent military/law enforcement experience
Ability to commute/Relocate:
Job is in Houston, Texas. Must be able to commute or plan to relocate before starting work.
License/Certification:
· Driver’s License (Required)
· Level III Security License (Required)
· First Aid and Basic CPR (Required)- will help obtain if needed

Work Hours:
· Monday- Friday Part time 15-20 hours per week, 3:00pm-6:00pm
· Some occasional weekends or after hours throughout the school year for events
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
