Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Day Porter to join our dynamic facilities maintenance team. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of our commercial property.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and restroom sanitation to uphold high standards of cleanliness.
- Conduct routine janitorial tasks such as window washing, floor care (buffing and polishing), and surface disinfecting across various areas.
- Maintain floors through proper care techniques including stripping, sealing, waxing, and buffing to ensure a polished appearance.
- Assist with general custodial responsibilities
- Support facilities maintenance activities by reporting repairs needed
- Use cleaning equipment safely and effectively while adhering to safety protocols and environmental standards.
- Provide porter services such as moving supplies or furniture as needed to support building operations.
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services with a focus on commercial or industrial environments.
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery safely and efficiently while following safety guidelines.
- Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues promptly.
Pay: From $23.78 per hour
