American Traveler is hiring an experienced Level 3b NICU RN for a night shift assignment requiring 2-3 years of NICU experience and a CA RN license.

,3b NICU unit within an acute care hospital setting
-
Caring for neonates of all gestational ages, including premature infants, sepsis, cooling patients, and substance abuse/withdrawal cases
-
Unit is expanding from 16 to 20 beds within the year
-
Patient ratios of 1:1 or11:3 for feeder/growers
-
Uses Cerner EMR
-
Uses Philips telemetry/monitoring equipment with no dedicated monitor tech
-
Ventilator equipment includes Aveya, bubble CPAP, Vapotherm, and oscillator
-
12-hour night shifts, 7p-7a
-
Every other weekend requirement

Floating required to L&D or postpartum units to care for babies, with travelers prioritized first to float
-
On-call neonatologist coverage with 2 full-time and 1 part-time providers
-
24/7 RT and pharmacy support available
-
No dedicated IV team on the unit

Charge nurse present on the unit; no nurse aides
