We are hiring motivated and dynamic Middle School Teachers for grades 6–8. Teachers will lead instruction in one or more core content areas (ELA, Social Studies), following a rotating subject schedule. community-building.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach content subjects daily in a departmentalized format.
- Use provided curriculum and pacing to guide instruction.
- Create engaging lesson plans that align with Florida B.E.S.T. standards.
- Monitor and document academic progress and behavior.
- Communicate regularly with students and families.
- Maintain an orderly, respectful, and safe classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support student growth and school-wide goals.
- Participate in PD sessions, school events, and academic reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education or a relevant subject area
- Teaching experience in middle grades (preferred)
- Strong content knowledge in assigned subject(s)
- Effective classroom management skills
- Familiarity with middle school student development
- Ability to adapt and innovate within a small school setting
