iSpine Clinics is a growing pain management practice that provides compassionate, personalized, and coordinated care to patients. Our mission is to improve our patients’ quality of life by providing minimally invasive and maximally effective treatments for chronic pain conditions.
We are excited to announce that we are looking for a Full Time (32/40 a week) Procedure Scheduler. This position will be based out of our Maple Grove Business Office. The hours are Monday - Friday, between 7:30AM - 5:00 PM on a rotating schedule. No weekends/holidays.
The candidate must have good customer service and communication skills, be organized and detail oriented. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Willing to learn EMR system. The Procedure Scheduler is responsible for verifying demographic information, answering phones and schedule appointments via the phone.
We are looking for individuals who have previous scheduling/reception experience in a health care setting, can multi-task, communicate across departments, work in a fast paced environment, and has a teamwork philosophy.
Required education:
-HS Diploma
Required experience or attributes:
-1-2 years of scheduling/reception experience in a healthcare setting is required
-Experience scheduling appointments for both procedure and clinic, registering patients and obtaining/verifying insurance information
-Ability to communicate calmly and clearly with patients on the phone
-Knowledge of customer service principles and techniques
-Ability to operate standard office equipment including multi-line telephone, computer, and fax machine
-Ability to navigate computerized scheduling system
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-Strong organization with attention to detail
-Positive attitude
