Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems ensuring proper entry and timely delivery
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and maximize sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks efficiently
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring overall satisfaction
- Assist with food handling, food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in compliance with food safety standards
- Support team members during busy hours by coordinating with kitchen staff and other servers
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to multitask effectively with excellent time management skills in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for order accuracy
- Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food industry roles like bussing or serving is highly valued
- Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus for understanding food preparation processes
