Cedar Grove is seeking a GL Staff Accountant with strong ERP experience—preferably in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central—to lead core accounting functions and drive process efficiency across financial operations. This role plays a critical part in maintaining accurate financial records, optimizing system workflows, and supporting data-driven decision-making in a fast-paced environment such as manufacturing, SaaS, or construction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Close
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes within the ERP system
- Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules
- Ensure accurate revenue recognition
- Perform variance analysis and provide actionable insights
ERP & System Management
- Own and optimize accounting processes within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
- Configure and maintain chart of accounts, dimensions, and posting groups
- Collaborate with IT on system upgrades and integrations
- Improve automation and reduce manual journal entriesIndustry
Specific Accounting (Manufacturing)
- Monitor inventory valuation and standard costing
- Analyze production variances and WIP
- Handle job costing and WIP schedules
- Track progress billing
General Accounting
- Oversee general ledger and reconciliations
- Manage fixed assets and depreciation
- Support AP/AR and cash management
- Maintain internal controls and audit readiness
Required Skills

Education/Certification
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA preferred
- 3-5 years of ERP-based accounting experience
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar ERP a plus
