Dental Hygienist (RDH) — 3–4 Days/Week | Farmington, CT

Farmington Village Dental is a single-location, privately owned (non-DSO, non-corporate) general dentistry practice looking for the right person to join our hygiene team. Fair warning: the doctors bring their dog to work, so a love of dogs is a must.
We're a small, four-operatory office that takes real pride in both patient satisfaction and clinical excellence. We educate our patients and help them make healthy choices, we treat everyone with non-judgmental empathy, and we respect our patients' time. We know how demanding it is to treat patients all day, so we've built a considerate, compassionate environment that supports you both personally and professionally.
The schedule: Monday–Wednesday 8:00am–5:00pm and Friday 8:00am–1:30pm (about 28.5 hours/week). No evenings and no weekends!

Pay & benefits:
- $45+/hour, depending on experience and credentials

What you'll do:
- Perform prophylaxis and scaling & root planing (SRP)
- Complete periodontal assessments and charting
- Take and evaluate radiographs
- Administer local anesthesia
- Educate patients and help them make healthy choices for optimal wellness
- Document care in Open Dental
- Work as a kind, patient teammate who does what's needed to keep the office running smoothly
Requirements:
- Active RDH license in CT
- Local anesthesia certificate
- SRP experience (preferred)
- Experience with Open Dental preferred
- Experience with YAPI preferred
- A good communicator with patients and coworkers who's genuinely non-judgmental toward both
