American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with 4+ years of experience and CNMT certification for a nuclear cardiology-focused role in a hospital and clinic setting.

Work in a hospital and clinic setting within the Nuclear Medicine department
-
Patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
-
Focus on nuclear cardiology procedures
-
Performs MUGA scans, PYP scans, and exercise/pharmacological (Lexiscan) stress studies
-
Utilizes Epic for charting
-
Day shift schedule, 4x10 hours from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM

May float within skill set as needed

May be placed on call once per pay period with a 60-minute callback requirement

Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist required

Current BLS and CNMT certification required
-
Hospital and clinic experience required

Experience with adult patients and nuclear cardiology required

Epic charting experience preferred

Proficiency in drawing venous blood and starting/maintaining IVs required

Experience in storing, handling, and disposing of radioactive materials required

Experience with myocardial exercise/rest studies (single and multiple), pharmacological stress procedures, and MUGA scans required

State license required if applicable

Not accepting first-time travelers for this role

One RTO request allowed and must be submitted with the initial profile

No local candidates accepted; permanent address must be more than 50 miles from the facility

Former employees must have been separated from the facility for 2 or more years to be eligible to return as a traveler

Only one contract extension is permitted, after which the traveler must take time off equal to the combined length of the original contract and extension before returning to this facility
