Purpose & Role: Golfinity is seeking an experienced, energetic, and hospitality-driven Food & Beverage Operations Manager to lead all aspects of our food and beverage operation while delivering an exceptional member and guest experience.
This role oversees the daily operations of the bar, kitchen, service staff, and private events while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality, cleanliness, profitability, and team performance. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, develops high-performing teams, and understands that outstanding service is a key part of the Golfinity experience.
The Food & Beverage Operations Manager plays a critical role in driving revenue, improving operational efficiency, supporting events, and creating an atmosphere where members and guests enjoy spending time both on and off the golf simulators.
Leadership & Team Management
- Recruit, hire, onboard, train, and develop food and beverage team members.
- Create weekly schedules that maximize service while managing labor costs.
- Coach employees through regular feedback, training, and performance evaluations.
- Foster a positive, accountable, team-oriented culture.
- Lead pre-shift meetings to communicate goals, promotions, and operational priorities.
Food & Beverage Operations
- Oversee all daily bar and kitchen operations.
- Ensure consistent food quality, beverage presentation, and service standards.
- Maintain efficient communication between front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and resolve service concerns quickly and professionally.
- Ensure every member and guest receives outstanding hospitality.
Financial Performance
- Manage labor budgets and scheduling.
- Monitor food, liquor, beer, and wine costs.
- Analyze sales reports and identify opportunities to increase revenue.
- Develop promotions and special events to drive food and beverage sales.
- Maintain inventory controls to reduce waste and maximize profitability.
Inventory & Purchasing
- Order food, beverages, liquor, beer, wine, and operating supplies.
- Conduct weekly and monthly inventory counts.
- Maintain vendor relationships and negotiate pricing when appropriate.
- Ensure proper product rotation and storage procedures.
Events & Member Experience
- Coordinate food and beverage execution for tournaments, leagues, corporate events, and private parties.
- Collaborate with the Director of Sales to execute successful events.
- Ensure event staffing, preparation, and service exceed expectations.
- Help create seasonal menus, drink specials, and promotional offerings.
Safety & Compliance
- Maintain compliance with all health department regulations and Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) requirements.
- Ensure food safety and sanitation procedures are consistently followed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Enforce responsible alcohol service policies.
Operational Excellence
- Maintain opening, shift, and closing procedures.
- Monitor cleanliness throughout the facility.
- Ensure equipment is maintained and functioning properly.
- Develop and improve operating procedures and service standards.
- Support cross-functional teamwork with coaching, membership, and operations departments.
