Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Associate to join our dynamic team. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for efficiently processing inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, and maintaining organized warehouse operations. Your proactive approach will support our commitment to delivering exceptional service and seamless logistics operations.
Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments and verify accuracy using scanners and warehouse management systems
- Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and staging orders with precision
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely to load and unload trucks
- Maintain accurate inventory records through stock counting, order picking, and updating MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems like AS400
- Ensure proper packaging of products for safe transport while adhering to quality standards
- Assist in stocking shelves and organizing warehouse space for optimal efficiency
- Support order fulfillment processes by utilizing RF scanners and order pickers to locate items quickly
- Loading / Unloading 53' Trailers, Flat-beds, and other types of transportation equipment.
Qualifications
- Prior warehouse experience with familiarity in shipping & receiving procedures
- Valid forklift certification and experience operating reach trucks and pallet jacks
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software such as AS400 or similar platforms
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and order processing
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to lift heavy packages repeatedly and stand or walk for extended periods
- Experience with commercial and government bills of ladings

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
