Magnolia Inn & Suites is looking for someone with a good work ethic and an eye for detail to join our Housekeeping team. This role involves continuous physical activity, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, lifting linens and supplies (up to 30 lbs), pushing carts, standing and walking for most of the shift, and performing repetitive motions.
Hotel Housekeeper Job Responsibilities:
- Performs cleaning duties in all guest areas and back of house.
- Consistently offers professional, friendly, and engaging service.
- Ensures housekeeping departmental standards are followed.
- Responds timely to guests’ special requests for miscellaneous items like cribs, cots, extra towels, etc. and with discretion.
- Maintains inventory of necessary supplies.
- Reports necessary maintenance items.
- Follows departmental policies and procedures.
- Follows all safety and sanitation policies
- Assists with laundry department, including washing, drying, folding and sorting linen
- Assists other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests.
- Performs additional duties as needed.
Hotel Housekeeper Qualifications / Skills:

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Previous housekeeping experience a plus
- Valid driver’s license
- Dependable transportation to and from work
