Job Summary

Duties
- Greet guests promptly with a friendly and professional demeanor, making them feel valued from the moment they arrive
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) system.
- Maintain an organized waitlist and coordinate seating to optimize table turnover and guest flow
- Answer incoming phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, providing information and taking reservations as needed
- Assist guests with seating preferences, special requests, and inquiries about menu items or restaurant policies
- Collaborate closely with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction
- Uphold food safety standards by maintaining cleanliness in the host station and adhering to health regulations
- Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive dining experience
Qualifications
- Previous host/hostess experience or food service background preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with restaurant POS systems is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills to manage reservations, waitlists, and guest flow efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper hygiene practices in food service settings
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a positive attitude
- Hospitality or hotel experience is advantageous but not mandatory; a genuine passion for guest relations is key
