Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Flex Officer to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their properties. This role involves a variety of security tasks, including The Flex Officer will be expected to adapt to different assignments and locations as needed, demonstrating flexibility and professionalism in all situations.
Responsibilities
- Monitor premises through regular patrols
- Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, or emergencies while maintaining a calm demeanor.
- Enforce rules and regulations to ensure the safety of all individuals on-site.
- Conduct thorough inspections of buildings and grounds to identify potential security risks or breaches.
- Collaborate with law enforcement when required, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
- Manage conflicts effectively by employing conflict management techniques to de-escalate situations.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes.

Duties:
- Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence
- Monitor perimeter fencing for any breaches or damage
- Provide customer service to the general public
- Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and for important occurrences.
- Communicate with local fire and police, Overton Management, SOC and the customer.
- Maintain a friendly demeanor towards employees, coworkers, etc…
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Work and train at many locations
- Availability for overtime is preferred
Experience & Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
Have a current TXDPS Level 2 Unarmed (Non-Commission) Guard Card
Have adequate English communication skills, both oral and written
Have the ability to utilize wireless technology via mobile applications
Maintain satisfactory attendance and punctuality standards
Must have a neat and professional appearance and hygiene standards
Must have flexible and weekend availability
Must be able to pass a background check
Must be able to conduct foot patrols during the assigned shift
