Job Overview
We are seeking an **EXPERIENCED** Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and have a passion for providing an exceptional dining experience. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction in our fine dining establishment.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service throughout their dining experience.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
- Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring all items are presented beautifully and meet our quality standards.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders and address any special requests from guests.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing tips.
- Assist with guest relations by addressing any concerns or feedback promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub environments.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is highly desirable.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service and guest satisfaction.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food handling practices, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations.
- Culinary experience or kitchen knowledge is a plus but not required.
