Location: Serving Schools in Davidson County's Charlotte Pike-Bellevue Community
Participating Schools: Gower Elementary; Harpeth Valley Elementary; Nashville Classical West Elementary; Westmeade Elementary
Position Type: Part-time **This is NOT a temporary or summer-only position.**
Pay Range starts at $15 per hour (or more depending on the childcare experience listed in the application or resume)
Shifts: Must be available Monday through Friday, Before & After School Care (6:30am to 8:30am & 2pm to 6pm)

What You’ll Do:

Actively lead and engage a group of 15–20 children in activities, inside and outside.

Set up and transform program spaces into child-friendly environments and ensure cleanliness.

Help implement a quality curriculum aligned with YMCA guidelines.

Build positive relationships with YMCA staff, school personnel, and families.

Ensure site licensing and quality standards are maintained.
What We’re Looking For:

Minimum Age: 18

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Enthusiastic, organized, and team-oriented individuals with a passion for youth development.

Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills with the ability to multitask.

This role is best for someone who enjoys staying active with kids. The essential functions of this position include the ability to see and hear children clearly, move quickly to ensure their safety, lift up to 40 lbs, and comfortably spend time standing, bending, and being outdoors in changing weather.

Certifications Required:

Before your first shift: Orientation, DHS Background Check, Fingerprinting, Abuse Registry Check, health forms, training sessions, and references.

Within 30 days of hire: CPR/First Aid/AED (Infant/Pediatric).
