Housing Help Alliance is seeking motivated, dependable individuals who are looking to build a long-term career in real estate while helping individuals and families find housing.
We specialize in working with Section 8, CityFHEPS, HASA, NYCHA, and other housing voucher programs, as well as traditional real estate clients.
Whether you are already licensed or looking to become licensed, we provide the training, mentorship, and support needed to build a successful real estate career.

This is an Independent Contractor position.
There is NO hourly wage or salary.
This position is 100% commission-based.
Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate apartment showings with clients and landlords
- Assist clients searching for housing
- Schedule appointments and maintain accurate records
- Communicate with landlords, property managers, and clients
- Follow up with leads by phone, text, and email
- Learn Housing Voucher Programs and traditional real estate transactions
- Work closely with our licensed agents while building your own real estate business
Licensed Applicants
Licensed New York Real Estate Agents are encouraged to apply.
Qualified licensed agents may begin working immediately after completing onboarding and training.
Licensed agents earn 40% commission on eligible transactions.
Unlicensed Applicants
No real estate license is required to apply.
However, because we specialize in Housing Voucher Programs, all unlicensed candidates accepted into our program must be committed to obtaining their New York Real Estate License.
Accepted candidates will be required to enroll in an approved 77-hour New York Real Estate Licensing Course and complete Housing Help Alliance training before working with clients independently.
While completing your licensing requirements and training, you may assist our team and earn 20% commission on eligible transactions.
Training Commitment Program
Accepted unlicensed candidates are required to participate in our Training Commitment Program.
The program includes the required real estate licensing course, specialized training on Housing Voucher Programs, mentorship, and ongoing support.
There are startup costs associated with the program.
These costs are 100% refundable once you:
- Successfully complete the required real estate licensing course
- Pass the New York State Real Estate Licensing Exam
- Become licensed
- Complete your first real estate transaction with Housing Help Alliance
