Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Packer to join our manufacturing and distribution team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately packing and preparing products for shipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and manufacturing protocols. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency with packaging equipment, and experience in warehouse operations. Duties
- Operate packaging equipment and hand tools to assemble, pack, and seal products according to manufacturing standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Handle materials safely, including heavy lifting and proper use of material handling equipment such as forklifts.
- Interpret production documents to verify product specifications and packing instructions.
- Conduct quality checks on packed items to ensure compliance with FDA regulations, CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice), and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of packing activities, materials used, and inventory levels.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues with packaging machinery and perform basic mechanical troubleshooting as needed.
- Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
- Assist in warehouse operations including receiving, storing, and organizing raw materials and finished goods.
- Support manufacturing processes by preparing products for shipment while adhering to GMP guidelines.
- Collaborate with production teams to optimize workflow efficiency and ensure timely completion of packing tasks.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse operations or manufacturing environments, preferably within regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals or food production.
- Familiarity with packaging equipment, industrial tools, and mechanical troubleshooting techniques.
- Knowledge of GMP, FDA regulations, CGMP standards, and safety protocol adherence.
- Ability to interpret manufacturing documents and production instructions accurately.
- Mechanical knowledge related to industrial equipment operation and troubleshooting.
- Basic math skills for measurements, counts, and inventory management.
- Experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail coupled with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
