We are currently hiring for the following shifts:
- Overnights: 12 hour shifts 7 days a week available
- Weekday Shifts: Shifts from 2 hours to 12 hours long, between 8a and 8p, Monday through Friday available
- Weekend Shifts: Shifts from 4 hours to 12 hours long, between 8a and 8p, Saturday and Sunday
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Caregiver/Personal Care Assistant to join our team. This vital role involves delivering high-quality personal care and support to seniors and individuals with disabilities, ensuring their safety, comfort, and dignity. The ideal candidate will possess a compassionate nature combined with relevant experience in skilled nursing, home care, or assisted living environments. However, we will train enthusiastic people with compassionate hearts, so don't let a lack of experience keep you from applying!
Duties
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote mental stimulation and social interaction.
- Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry.
- Provide transportation to appointments and social gatherings.
- Follow established care plans and communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure personalized care delivery.
- Document daily activities and completion of care plan. Communicate concerns and client needs with office.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures willingly and completely.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and documentation. Must be fluent in spoken English and be able to read and write notes in English.
- Able to pass a background check and a drug test.
- Have a valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable transportation.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, and be able to lift a weight of 35 lbs and carry it 25 feet several times per day.
- Be at least 18 years of age and eligible to work in the US.
