We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resident Care Provider to join our team in delivering exceptional care to residents in a supportive, community-focused environment. Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor residents’ health by taking vital signs and observing for changes in condition or behavior
- Support residents with medication administration following prescribed protocols and safety guidelines
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring proper nutrition for all residents
- Implement care plans tailored to individual needs, including dementia and Alzheimer's care strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation using electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and complete incident reports as needed
- Engage residents in social activities and therapeutic programs to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being
- Practice safe manual handling techniques during resident transfers and heavy lifting tasks to prevent injury
- Uphold cleanliness standards through regular cleaning of resident areas and common spaces
- Communicate effectively with residents’ families, healthcare teams, and team members to coordinate care efforts
Experience
Candidates should possess prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or residential care homes. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or cognitive impairments such as dementia is highly desirable. Familiarity with long-term care environments, home & community care settings, or group homes will be advantageous. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in basic caregiving skills including vital signs measurement, medication administration, safe patient lifting practices, and emergency response procedures like CPR and first aid. Previous exposure to EMR systems, meal preparation, behavior management, and client communication will strengthen your application. A background in geriatrics or senior care is preferred. All applicants should have hands-on experience with manual handling techniques, assisting with ADLs, managing behavioral challenges associated with dementia or developmental disabilities, and maintaining a safe environment for residents.

Pay: $15.50 - $17.00 per hour
