What You’ll Do
- Assist brokers and health benefit administrators with managing renewals and recertifications.
- Assist individuals in processing enrollments, changes and terminations.
- Coordinate with internal teams to gather necessary information and documentation for client accounts.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and transactions.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries and provide timely and accurate information.
- Manage administrative changes for small groups.
- Collaborate with sales reps and brokers to prepare for upcoming presentations.
- Maintain folders under the small business individual unit that are used by account coordinators.
- Gather incoming physical mail from delivery carriers and retrieve incoming documents from shared fax and folder servers. Distribute accordingly to internal departments.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulations to provide informed support to brokers and clients.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Other duties as assigned by leadership .
Skills and Experience
- Education, Licensures, & Certifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; preferred 2yr/4yr degree
- Years of Experience (Required & Preferred)
- Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role is a plus.
- Required Job Skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferred Job Skills
- Knowledge of the commercial insurance industry is a plus.
- Certification - Must possess, or obtain within 60 days from date of hire all required licensure and certification ( New York and Vermont LAH)
Pay Transparency
MVP Health Care is committed to providing competitive employee compensation and benefits packages. The base pay range provided for this role reflects our good faith compensation estimate at the time of posting. MVP adheres to pay transparency nondiscrimination principles. Specific employment offers and associated compensation will be extended individually based on several factors, including but not limited to geographic location; relevant experience, education, and training; and the nature of and demand for the role.
