Bookkeeper – Luxury Home Builder
Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316
Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
About the Role
We are a luxury home builder seeking a detail‑oriented Bookkeeper to support financial operations across multiple active construction projects. The ideal candidate is highly fluent in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office, with strong accuracy and organizational skills suited for a fast‑paced, high‑standard environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records for multiple construction projects
- Process vendor invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests
- Track job costs, budgets, and change orders
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and vendor statements
- Prepare monthly financial reports for management
- Assist with payroll time tracking and project labor allocation
- Provide reliable administrative and financial support to the operations team
Required Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data organization)
- Strong command of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook)
- High level of accuracy, organization, and confidentiality; able to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
Preferred Experience (Not Required)
- QuickBooks Desktop
- QuickBooks Time (Intuit)
- Construction accounting or job‑costing
- Adobe (Acrobat, PDF editing)
