TITLE: Programmer Analyst (.Net/C#/SQL)
LOCATION: Onsite - Little Rock, Arkansas
PAY: Target pay for this role is $80-90K but may vary based on experience

Our client is looking for a Programmer Analyst to support the development, implementation, and maintenance of applications and databases used by their production team. This role will be hands-on with application development, troubleshooting, data validation, workflow automation, and production support.
Overview of responsibilities
You will:
Develop, maintain, test, and support computer applications and databases used in production.
Monitor assigned programs and troubleshoot issues related to logic, coding, performance, and system functionality.
Work with internal teams to enhance application functionality, improve performance, and support new software integrations.
Develop applications using Microsoft .NET, web technologies, PHP, SQL Server, and related tools.
Support flat file and relational database access, automated workflow processes, and output generation such as Adobe PostScript/PDF.
Validate customer input data for format, structure, and content when possible.
Create documented code for application testing and production approval.
Support production operations, including data proofs, digital/hardcopy proofs, and first-production inspections.
Ensure output meets layout, content, USPS documentation, barcode, mailing, and production requirements.
Analyze processes and recommend improvements to increase departmental efficiency.
Provide guidance to lower-level programmers, technicians, and team members as needed.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on Programmer Analyst with strong experience in .NET, PHP, SQL Server, web applications, APIs, and production support. This person should be comfortable working with legacy code, supporting production systems, and building reliable applications that support business-critical operations.
Required qualifications include:
BS in Computer Science or related field, with at least 5 years of experience.
3+ years of experience with .NET Framework 4.8 or higher / .NET 8.0, including Windows Forms, MVC, and C#.
Experience with .NET Core, ASP.NET Web Forms, C#, JavaScript, and full-stack web development.
3+ years of PHP web application development experience, including object-oriented programming and MVC frameworks.
Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, and full-stack PHP application support.
2+ years of SQL Server 2016 or above, including writing optimized SQL queries and stored procedures.
Experience creating and using APIs and Web Services, preferably using .NET Core.
Experience with secure web application practices, including input validation, authentication/authorization, SQL injection prevention, XSS, and CSRF protection.
Experience deploying and maintaining PHP applications in hosted environments, including Apache/Nginx and Cloudflare or similar CDN/security services.
Experience with financial system integrations such as QuickBooks Desktop or similar accounting platforms.
Experience integrating third-party services and APIs, including payment processors, analytics platforms, and external data providers.
Familiarity with Google Analytics or similar application monitoring and analytics tools.
Ability to quickly understand and support existing or legacy code.
1+ year of experience defining CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, including TDD, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Deployment.
Experience with Agile project management methodology.
Ability to provide compiled executable standalone applications and/or websites.
Ability to pass a background check and/or security clearance.
Preferred qualifications include:
Blazor experience.
Full-stack web development experience.
Knowledge of DynamicPDF Core Suite tools and/or Apryse’s iText.
Experience with Adobe PostScript/PDF output generation.
Experience supporting production environments tied to mailing, printing, barcode, or document output processes.
