We are working with an established food production company based in Frederick, MD. They are recruiting for a Maintenance Technician to join their team during their 1st or 3rd shifts in return for a salary in the region of $35 - $45 /hour along with excellent employment benefits which include 401K, Healthcare, Vision and Dental, PTO and Life Assurance.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Performing scheduled maintenance on equipment (based on hours, cycles, or time)
- Inspecting machinery for wear, damage, or potential failure
- Lubricating moving parts, replacing filters, belts, bearings, etc.
- Checking electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Calibrating equipment to ensure proper operation
- Conducting In-Depth Machine Inspections
Qualifications & Experience required:
- At least 3 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment preferably within food production or processing
- Lubricating moving parts, replacing filters, belts, bearings,
- Maintenance expertise in hydraulics, mechanics, and electrical functions of the equipment
- Familiarity with machine configuration, rebuilding, stripping, and preventative maintenance
