Immediate Opening for Fire Sprinkler Service Mechanic:
* 5 - year FDNY testing (Sprinkler, Standpipe, Residential)
* Able to trouble-shoot and repair.
* Able to perform NFPA 25 Inspections
* Able to work overtime - (Emergency service call repairs)
* Has S12 & S13 certificate's of fitness
*Clean Drivers License
Required Skills:
Sound fundamental mechanical knowledge of fire wet/dry sprinkler systems
Ability to quickly diagnose trouble conditions with a course of action to resolve or repair
Ability to read, comprehend and follow riser diagrams or manufacturer’s instructions to repair or replace equipment
Strong written skill to document inspection reports and/or deficiencies found along with completing daily service tickets
Strong verbal skill to communicate with office staff on the progress or status of repairs/inspections that are either scheduled or performed on an emergency basis.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $40.00 per hour
