As a part time Maintenance Crew Member, you’ll assist with a variety of park maintenance projects, including:

Mowing, trimming, and landscaping

Collecting and disposing of refuse in and around parks
-
Maintaining fences, signs, shelters, and playground equipment
-
Performing custodial tasks and other duties as directed
This role is hands-on and active! You’ll be walking, bending, stooping, standing, kneeling, climbing, reaching, and sitting in all kinds of weather. Heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) is part of the job.

Requirements:
- Minimum age 18.

Demonstrated experience in the field of parks maintenance or other related grounds experience preferred.

Valid driver’s license required.

Knowledge of accident prevention and precautions applicable to maintenance operations.

Practical knowledge of mechanized equipment and tools in maintenance operations.

Hours will be based on a 40 hour work week during the seasonal time frame of May – September.

Must be available for weekend and holiday work hours.
