Job Summary
We are looking for a dependable, customer-focused Powersports Parts & Service Associate to support our parts counter and service operation. This role helps customers find the right parts and accessories, coordinates parts for service work, maintains accurate inventory, and keeps orders moving from receipt through pickup, delivery, return, or warranty resolution.
The right candidate communicates clearly, stays organized in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in giving every customer prompt, professional service. This position reports to the Parts Manager and works closely with the Service Writer, Service Manager, vendors, and other team members.
What You'll Do
- Greet customers promptly, listen carefully, and assist with parts orders and technical service questions in person and by phone.
- Identify, quote, order, receive, inspect, label, and organize parts and accessories accurately.
- Match incoming parts to customer and service work orders, and promptly notify the Service Writer or customer when parts arrive.
- Enter work orders and accurately record labor, time, and parts used so customers are invoiced correctly.
- Maintain parts inventory through stock replenishment, cycle counts, annual inventory, returns, and management of obsolete parts.
- Keep parts counters, storage areas, displays, and customer-order shelves clean, current, well stocked, and easy to navigate.
- Coordinate warranty questions, warranty returns, repairs, vendor claims, and manufacturer communications.
- Meet return deadlines, process receiving documents, and assist with cancellations, price adjustments, and refunds according to company policy.
- Prepare merchandise for customer pickup, delivery, or service by pulling, opening, and inspecting products for accuracy and condition.
- Resolve customer concerns constructively and involve management when an issue falls outside established company guidelines.
- Follow opening, closing, cash-handling, confidentiality, safety, and housekeeping procedures.
- Drive company vehicles safely and courteously when assigned.
- Participate in team meetings, training, performance reviews, and other duties that support the store and its customers.

- Sound judgment when handling customer concerns, warranties, returns, and confidential information.
- A team-first attitude and willingness to help where needed.
- A valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record if operating company vehicles is required.
- Ability to safely receive, pull, inspect, move, and load merchandise; add specific lifting and physical requirements below.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in powersports, automotive, marine, small-engine, agricultural, or equipment parts and service.
- Experience with inventory control, cycle counting, warranty claims, vendor returns, or service work orders.
- Familiarity with manufacturer parts catalogs and lookup systems.
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
