M&M Transport is presently looking to hire an experienced dispatcher for our dedicated operations in Bloomfield CT.
Schedule will be Friday Night through Monday
- Friday night 6pm to 4am
- Saturday night 7pm to 7am
- Sunday night 10pm to 7am
- Monday night 8pm to 5am
Ideal candidates will be responsible for all dispatch, as well as administrative and office activities related to the company's transportation operation. You will report directly to the Account manager and direct our drivers with little direct supervision and will be required to exercise independent judgment and discretion in the performance or your duties.
The ideal candidate will:
Utilize TMW suite and/or Excel for dispatching all loads.
Assisting with all payroll, billing, and safety related data entry and paperwork.
Be responsible for customer and employee communication via phone, email, or driver onboard communication systems.
Be responsible for direct communication with drivers.
Be able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.
Qualifications:
We are willing to train the right candidate for this role but we would prefer the following:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a dedicated transportation environment.
Familiar with all DOT Rules and Regulations.
Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook experience required---TMW suite experience a plus.
Onboard communication software experience a plus.
