HIRING an experienced and professional Sous Chef / Kitchen Manager at Murphy's Mountain Grill in Downtown Evergreen.

Must be available to work nights and weekends. Shifts vary 8am -4pm, 12pm - 8pm, and 3pm - close (approx 10pm). The team is big enough that there is flexibility in time off. CLOSED Tuesdays, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
Compensation
- Hourly: $27.00 - $30.00 based on experience. Overtime is paid for hours worked over 12 in a day and/or 40 in a week. Salary may be discussed based on qualifications.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage BOH restaurant operations
- Assist with hiring, training and mentoring team members, fostering professional growth and a positive work environment
- Assist with labor management and scheduling
- Monitor inventory, ordering, and food cost management
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Handle teammate and guest concerns professionally, ensuring a high level of satisfaction
- Follow and execute recipes consistently to ensure quality, presentation, and portion standards are met
- Implement and uphold performance principles expected by owners and team
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a fast pace restaurant
- Solid knowledge of cooking procedures, measurements, and culinary terms - we make it ALL from scratch!
- Desire and ability to prepare all dishes with speed, accuracy and consistent presentation
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire teams
- Ability to work 40–50 hours/week, five shifts per week
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time, lift up to 50 lbs., able to bend, reach, twist and have continual use of hands and arms.
- Reliable transportation and residence within reasonable proximity to Evergreen
- Maturity and overall ability to arrive to work on time, complete required tasks and show professionalism and dependability in each aspect of the job with unwavering commitment.
