Responsibilities
- Report major damages to supervisor
- Maintain outer premises by mowing lawn, cleaning entrances and removing debris from lot.
- Empties and cleans all trash receptacles, inside and outside.
- Maintain stock of all supplies (shop towels, water, etc.)
- Clean building floors by sweeping and mopping
- Runs errands as directed by foreman.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
Custodian Qualifications / Skills:
- Knowledge of standard cleaning methods and procedures
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for many hours
- Ability to perform repetitive motion for long periods of time
- Background in handling and using cleaning chemicals
- Knowledge of occupational hazards safety rules
- Ability to understand verbal instructions.
- Ability to understand and follow safety procedures.
- Ability to safely use cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Ability to understand written and verbal communications.
- Must be able to list 50-100 pounds.
- Other assigned tasks, as needed.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
