Shift Schedule: Mon-Fri | 8AM-5PM
Astrya Global is seeking a Licensed Psychologist for a full-time Behavioral Health Manager (QAPI) contract opportunity in Napa, CA. This leadership role oversees behavioral health quality, compliance, utilization review, data reporting, and documentation while supporting regulatory and Medi-Cal requirements.
The Behavioral Health Manager will provide leadership across quality and operational functions, ensuring behavioral health services remain compliant, well-documented, and audit-ready.

Qualifications
- Active California Psychologist license
- Experience managing behavioral health quality, compliance, or managed care operations
- Understanding of Medi-Cal regulations and performance standards
- Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and supervisory staff
- Strong understanding of quality assurance and quality improvement processes
- Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and oversee implementation
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
- Ability to coordinate quality efforts across multiple programs
- County behavioral health experience strongly preferred
Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee behavioral health quality, compliance, and managed care operations.
- Ensure compliance with Medi-Cal and other regulatory requirements.
- Maintain audit readiness and coordinate external reviews.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and corrective action plans.
- Oversee utilization review, authorizations, and documentation standards.
- Strengthen Medi-Cal documentation and claiming practices.
- Monitor access, utilization, and performance data.
- Oversee required state reporting and data collection.
- Lead quality, utilization review, and administrative teams.
- Identify compliance gaps and implement workflow improvements.
