Overview
Horseshoe Bay Resort is seeking a dependable Irrigation Technician to maintain, repair, and operate irrigation systems across resort grounds. This role is critical to ensuring healthy, well-maintained landscapes throughout the property.
Key Responsibilities
- Program, monitor, and maintain irrigation and drainage systems
- Troubleshoot and repair pipes, valves, controllers, wiring, and sprinkler heads
- Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections
- Assist with installation of irrigation and drainage lines
- Maintain inventory of parts and materials
- Support team training on system operation
- Assist with general groundskeeping and equipment operation as needed
Qualifications
- Required: Current Irrigation Technician License (must be active and in good standing)
- At least 1 year of irrigation or grounds maintenance experience
- Working knowledge of irrigation systems, hydraulics, and basic electrical components
- Ability to operate equipment and troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Flexibility to work a variable schedule, including weekends (up to 7 days/week as needed)
- Ability to work outdoors and lift up to 50 lbs
