Patrons can choose from a variety of food from vendors, an expansive selection of beer on tap, wine and mixed drinks, while enjoying indoor and outdoor space with friends and family. Our Silos Ambassadors are responsible for taking ownership of the details to deliver a clean, happy, and healthy experience for our team members and guests. The look good / feel good impression we want to leave on our guests is made possible by paying close attention to the details that bring our vision to life.
As a Silos Ambassador, you will:
- greet every guest with a welcoming and kind approach
- clean and set-up indoor and outdoor dining areas throughout The Silos
- assist guests to locate seating indoors or outdoors
- pre-bus and bus tables, clean and sanitize indoor and outdoor dining areas
- keep all tables and chairs cleaned and organized for guest use
- collect bar glassware, assist with cleaning and sanitizing barware as needed
- check on guests to ensure a positive experience, interact and encourage guests to check out bar, food vendors and community areas for guests to enjoy
- remove trash and clean trash disposable areas as needed
- re-stock and replenish toilet paper, hand soap and hand towels as needed in the restroom
- sweep and mop floors to clear any dirt or debris, keep all facilities guest ready
- deep clean indoor and outdoor dining areas and restrooms
- complete opening, shift change and closing procedures thoroughly with attention to detail
- participate and track on-going training in your role to develop skill, consistency, and performance
- learn and adhere to the policies and procedures outlined in the employee handbook, training materials, standard operating procedures, and recipes guidelines
- contribute to an environment where open communication flourishes, feedback is valued, contributions matter, and guests/team members are respected
- keep facilities clean, organized, and guest ready
- assist in marketing and events when applicable
- provide exceptional customer service to team members and guests
- comply with health code standards and cleanliness in accordance with Montgomery County’s Department of Health; ensure proper functionality and maintenance of all equipment
- arrive on time to work with a positive attitude

Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, with a strong understanding of hospitality standards
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation practices, and food handling regulations
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including lifting and proper body mechanics
- Excellent communication skills for internal team coordination and guest interactions
- Experience in bussing tables, setting up dining areas, and supporting private event and large party operations
- Familiarity with food safety protocols and hygiene standards within the food industry
- Strong customer service orientation with a positive attitude and attention to detail
