Duties
- Supervise children during after-school hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Facilitate engaging youth group activities, including games, arts and crafts, outdoor play, and educational projects
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive conduct and conflict resolution
- Maintain a safe environment by adhering to first aid protocols, CPR procedures, and AED operation standards
- Monitor attendance, document incidents or concerns, and communicate effectively with parents or guardians as needed
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in educational, childcare, camp, or youth program settings is preferred
- Certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and familiarity with first aid protocols (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Demonstrated ability to lead team activities and facilitate youth group programs with enthusiasm
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and team members
