Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, customer-focused Service Dispatcher / Coordinator to support our expanding Service & Repairs Division.
This role is responsible for managing incoming service requests, coordinating schedules, dispatching field crews, and helping ensure repair jobs are completed efficiently, professionally, and with strong communication throughout the process.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, calm under pressure, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and able to keep multiple moving pieces organized behind the scenes.
This is a key operational support role that directly impacts customer satisfaction, field efficiency, and the overall success of the service department.
Key ResponsibilitiesScheduling & Dispatching
Manage the daily service and repair schedule
Dispatch crews efficiently based on location, scope, urgency, and availability
Prioritize emergency and time-sensitive service calls
Coordinate job timing, routing, and schedule adjustments throughout the day
Help ensure field teams are positioned to complete work efficiently and professionally
Customer Communication
Answer inbound service calls and respond to online service inquiries
Schedule service appointments and confirm job details with customers
Communicate timelines, expectations, updates, and next steps clearly
Serve as a dependable point of contact for customers throughout the service process
Help create a smooth and professional customer experience from start to finish
Service Coordination
Ensure crews have accurate job information before dispatch
Coordinate with internal team members to align schedules, job needs, and customer expectations
Track job progress and follow up on completion status
Help keep service operations organized, responsive, and efficient
Support communication between customers, office staff, and field teams
Administrative Support
Assist with creating service tickets and job documentation
Support invoicing, billing, and closeout processes as needed
Maintain accurate records within CRM and scheduling systems
Help track service volume, open jobs, completed work, and basic performance metrics
Provide general administrative support to the service department
Qualifications
1–4 years of experience in dispatching, scheduling, customer service, or administrative coordination
Construction, roofing, home services, or field-service experience preferred
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Ability to stay calm, professional, and effective in a fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
Comfortable using CRM, scheduling, or job management software
Proficient with Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc.
Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with dispatching field crews, technicians, or service teams

Ability to understand basic construction terminology and job flow
Work Schedule Expectations
Full-time, Monday through Friday position
Weekend availability may be required at times to support emergency service calls or high-demand periods
Schedule flexibility may be needed during severe weather events or peak service periods
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $55,000 – $65,000, based on experience
