Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair and vehicle maintenance, demonstrating both mechanical and electrical knowledge. This role requires a commitment to providing excellent customer service while effectively diagnosing and resolving vehicle issues. The Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining various types of vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including oil changes, brake inspections, and tire rotations.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using appropriate tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment to complete repairs accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations while working in the shop environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in automotive repair and vehicle maintenance is required.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot air brake systems is preferred.
- Familiarity with electrical systems in vehicles is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
- Proficient in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment relevant to automotive repair.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
