This role provides flexibility for either a Per-Diem or Part Time schedule.
SUMMARY
Nutrishare provides clinical services and specialized sterile preparations, parenteral nutrition, and supplies for home infusion patients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned either verbally or in writing.
- Provides Nutrition Support (NS) related information and consults with other healthcare professionals to ensure successful patient outcomes.
- Reviews prescriptions to assure accuracy of a formulas and ingredients.
- Monitors patients receiving Parenteral Nutrition (PN) by maintaining and reviewing the medical record.
- Ensures timely response to patient needs and concerns.
- Identifies metabolic complications in patients and takes action to resolve them.
- Consults, answers questions, and provides information on drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and storage of pharmaceuticals.
- Upholds policies and procedures.
- Oversees pharmacy staff engaged in compounding and dispensing.
- Verifies final compounded sterile products and supplies etc.
- Ensures accuracy and completeness of medical records including patient name, prescribed medications and administration instructions, clinical assessment, and documentation of patient, caregiver, and other healthcare professionals communication.
- Participates in department meeting.

Oversees pharmacy technician and warehouse staff
Qualifications
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s or Doctorate of Pharmacy from an accredited university, minimum of two ears related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be a registered Pharmacist .
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from team members, patients, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to translate and calculate formulas, proportions, percentages, ratios, and volume.
REASONING ABILITY
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Current Pharmacy License with respective State Board of Pharmacy; Multiple additional state licenses will be required as determined by Nutrishare executives and operational need. Verification of continuing education units as required by the state board of pharmacy.

Pay: $63.00 - $70.00 per hour
