Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while ensuring proper food handling and sanitation standards
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and creating a welcoming environment
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
- Utilize reservation platforms like OpenTable to manage bookings and optimize seating flow
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations
- Experience with food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques
- Culinary or kitchen experience is a plus for understanding food preparation processes
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Nightclub or nightlife serving experience is advantageous for energetic environments
- Host/hostess experience or prior roles in guest services can be beneficial
