Responsibilities

- Provide detailed information about merchandise, including features, benefits, and pricing
- Process transactions accurately using cash handling, cashiering, and cash management procedures
- Support customers with basic math calculations related to purchases, discounts, or financial services
- Handle loan processing inquiries or applications when applicable, ensuring compliance with procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor to enhance the shopping experience
- Use retail math skills to ensure accurate cash register operations and inventory management
Skills
- Proven experience in retail sales or customer service environments
- Knowledge of banking or financial services is a plus, including loan processing and cash handling
- Strong basic math skills and proficiency in retail math for transactions and calculations
- Familiarity with financial software or point-of-sale systems (POS) is preferred
- Ability to perform 10 key typing quickly and accurately for efficient data entry
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
