Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential and commercial spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and bathroom sanitation
- Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers, carpet cleaners, and other janitorial tools efficiently and safely
- Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with health standards
- Use cleaning detergents effectively while adhering to safety guidelines for manual handling and chemical use
- Communicate professionally with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and provide exceptional customer service
- Manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks within designated schedules while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
Skills
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality housekeeping management
- Strong knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, and sanitation practices
- Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
- Excellent manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy items comfortably and safely
- Familiarity with cleaning detergents and disinfectants along with proper usage protocols
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks in fast-paced environments
- Outstanding customer service skills with clear client communication abilities
