Kiddie Academy of Wiregrass Ranch is seeking a caring, dependable, and energetic Three-Year-Old Assistant Teacher to join our early childhood education team! This full-time position is ideal for someone passionate about creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing classroom environment where preschool children can learn, grow, and thrive every day.
Schedule
- Full-Time
- Monday through Friday
- 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and classroom activities
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
- Supervise and engage children during learning centers, outdoor play, meals, and transitions
- Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
- Encourage positive behavior and model strong classroom management skills
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow team members
- Follow all Florida DCF licensing requirements and Kiddie Academy policies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must meet Florida state requirements for childcare professionals
- Previous preschool or childcare experience preferred
- DCF 45 Hours preferred or willingness to complete upon hire
- Passion for working with preschool-aged children
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, professional, and positive attitude
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and actively engage throughout the workday
